Hinckley Retriever Club

Our Training Grounds
All Hinckley Retriever Club training grounds are private property, with special permission granted to club members for use. The grounds are available for club members to train weekdays after 4 pm provided there are no special events or tests/trials happening. (Per AKC rules, the grounds are closed to training 24 hours prior to the start of a licensed Hunt Test or Field Trial.) Please respect the property as if it was your own.

The grounds are located on both sides of Roberts Road.. The 120 acres on the North side of the road includes open rolling hills, flat plains, a pond, and a gravel pit that has been specially sculpted for dog training. The 80 acres on the South side has technical and natural ponds that are well-fed. It has both open and lightly tree covered areas that are suited to both hunt tests and field trials.
